1. To start, get to your phone Contacts. You will need to open the desired contact to assign a personal ringtone to on your mobile device.

2. Once you've already opened the contact, touch Edit.

3. Next, touch Ringtone, to choose a ringtone you want for the selected contact.

You may choose one from the preloaded ringtones on your device. Simply touch on your preferred ringtone from the list, and then touch OK.

Another way to add a personal ringtone from the sounds stored on your device, is by touching on Add, and then double-tapping on the Sound-picker to locate the music file you want. Once you've already chosen a music/sound track, touch Done to assign it to the selected contact.

B. Assigning a Vibration Pattern on Galaxy Alpha

Follow these steps to set up or assign a vibration pattern on your phone:

1. Touch Add another field, and then select Vibration pattern.

2. Touch OK to continue.

3. To select a preloaded pattern, touch on Vibration pattern. Or you can also create a new personal vibration pattern for the selected contact. Simply touch on Create, then follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process.

C. Assigning personal ringtone as message alert on Galaxy Alpha

Follow these steps to assign a ringtone or alert message tone on your new GS Alpha handset:

1. Touch Add another field, then select Message tone.

2. Touch OK to continue.

3. Touch on Message Tone, and then choose one from the preloaded ringtones.

4. Touch OK to confirm.
