This is yet another tutorial for new owners of Samsung Galaxy S5 who need help in setting up voicemail on their new Galaxy handset. Please read on this content to guide you through the process.
Before we start, please note that some carriers would recommend you to create a password when setting up voicemail on your device, in order to prevent any unauthorized access. If you don't use a password, anyonce who has access to your phone will also be able to access your voicemail messages.
Follow these steps to set up voicemail on your Galaxy S5:
1. Go to the Home screen.
2. Touch the Phone icon to get started.
Hint:
If your screen is locked, you will have to press the Power/Lock key to turn the display on first, and then swipe your screen in any direction. If you have setup a screen lock on your device, then use your screen lock.
3. Now touch and hold the number 1 key (with voicemail icon) to dial your voicemail number.
4. Follow the system prompts to create your password, record your name announcement and record your greeting.
