If you keep on getting any unwanted calls on your Samsung Galaxy Note 4, then you can use this guide to put a halt on it.
You may opt to block calls from a number of a contact whom don't want to get a call from for now. Anyway, you can always unblock this number if you change your mind later. In this guide, we'll walk you through blocking calls from a number as well as unblocking a number on your Galaxy Note 4 device. Just follow these steps to get this done correctly on your end.
Let's get started right away.
Blocking calls from a number
In order to block any incoming call that is not tagged as blocked or not added to the reject list, simply touch the red Phone icon, then drag it to the left.
You can also block certain calls but provide a message by touching the Reject call with message option and then drag upward.
Follow these steps to blocking incoming calls from a certain contact number:
1. Tap Phone from the Home screen.
2. Tap the Menu icon from the Keypad or Logs screen.
3. Tap Settings to continue.
4. Tap Call.
5. Tap Call rejection.
6. Tap Auto reject list.
7. Tap Create.
8. Tap the Contacts icon, to select a contact number to add in to the Auto reject list.
Hint:
If you choose to enter the number manually, just enter then number. You may opt to use a Match criteria option if you want, including Exactly the same as (default), starts with, ends with or includes for a faster way to get this done. When you're done, tap Save.
9. Search for a contact number to add in to the Auto reject list with these steps:
a. Tap the Contacts icon.
b. Tap Logs if you want to select a number to block from the Call Logs. Otherwise, tap Contacts to select a number to block from your Contacts.
c. Tap the number to reject or contact to add to the reject list.
d. Tap Save when done.
The number is now added in to the reject list, which means you will no longer get a call from that number.
Unblocking a number
If you change your mind and want to remove a contact number from your block list, then unblock that number. When that number is unblocked, it means that you already allow incoming calls from that number to get through.
Follow these steps to unblock a number on your Galaxy Note 4:
1. Tap Phone from the Home screen.
2. Tap the Menu icon from the Keypad or Logs screen.
3. Tap Settings to continue.
4. Tap Call.
5. Select Auto reject list.
Hint:
You may also opt to allow calls but leave a number on the blocked list. To do so, clear the checkbox next to the number.
6. Follow these steps to allow calls and remove a number from the blocked list:
a. Tap the Trash can icon.
b. Select the check box next to the number.
c. Tap Done to confirm action.
And that covers everything in this guide.
