Similar to other Samsung devices, you can also manage or adjust display properties of your Samsung Gear Fit.The following steps will walk you through managing display settings of Samsung Gear Fit, as well as view and configure some options according to your preference.
1. Go to the Clock screen, to get started.
2. Swipe to the left to access Settings.
3. Touch Settings to continue.
4. Swipe left to access Display.
5. Touch Display to get to display settings/options. This is where you can view and adjust settings for brightness, icon size, notification and more.
6. To adjust screen brightness, touch Brightness.
7. You will then see certain option symbols or icons. Touch the + or - icons to set screen brightness higher or lower. To go back to the Settings menu, touch the Back icon, represented by an arrow-left sign.
8. If you want to change wrist to wear Gear Fit on, touch Wrist worn on.
9. Touch Left or Right, depending on which wrist you would like to wear your Gear Fit on.
10. Go back to the Settings menu by touching the return arrow or back icon.
11. If you want to configure rotate screen orientation options, touch Rotate screen.
12. You can choose either from Horizontal or Vertical orientation. Just touch the option you would like to set the Gear Fit screen orientation to.
13. Go back to the Settings menu when done. To access additional settings, swipe the screen to the left.
Among the additional settings options include Screen timeout, Home icon size, Font size, and Wake-up gesture.
14. Touch Screen timeout to adjust screen timeout duration.
15. Available time duration options you can choose for your screen timeout are 10 sec, 15 sec, 30 sec, 1 min or 5 min. Just touch any of these options to set how quickly the screen turns off when idle or not in use.
16. Return to the Settings menu.
17. Touch Home icon size to configure icon sizes.
18. To adjust the appearance of on-screen icons on your Gear Fit device, touch either Large icons or Small icons, as you desire. Once done, return to the Settings menu to configure other settings option.
19. To adjust Font size, touch Font size. You can select from either Small or Medium font sizes. Just touch to select a font size you'd like to use.
20. Get back to the Settings menu, then swipe left again to access more settings including Wake-up gestures.
21. To configure Wake-up gestures settings on your Gear Fit, touch Wake-up gesture. You can turn Wake-up gesture on or off. When turned on or enabled, you can wake up your device by raising or shaking your arm.
To choose the screen that shows when you wake up your Gear Fit device, touch any from Off, Clock or Last screen options.
