In this tutorial, we have elaborated a step-by-step process in adding and removing fingerprint data on the new Samsung Galaxy Alpha handset.We intend to make this content simple to suit the needs of beginner users of the new Galaxy Alpha device. You too may refer to this guide if you want to. Just follow these steps whenever you're all set.
A. Register Fingerprint or Thumbprint
1. Get to the Home screen to get started.2. Touch Apps to continue.
3. Now touch Settings in the next screen.
4. Under the Settings screen, scroll down and touch Finger Scanner.
5. Next, touch Fingerprint Manager, under Finger Scanner menu/screen.
6. You will then be prompted with a sub-screen. Use your registered finger or thumb to proceed.
7. If you want to register another fingerprint or thumbprint, simply touch on the plus (+) icon and follow the on-screen prompts/instructions.
Hint:
You can register up to three fingerprints and thumbprints on your Samsung Galaxy Alpha.
B. Remove Fingerprint/Thumbprint
1. To remove a thumbprint or fingerprint, simply touch the More icon, located on the upper-right corner of the screen, right next to the + sign. It represented by a three-vertical-dot icon.2. Touch Deregister from the sub-menu items.
3. Now touch the print you want to remove.
4. Once you've selected/highlighted the print to delete or remove, touch the Delete icon. It's represented with a trashcan icon, located on the upper-right corner of the screen.
5. You will be prompted with the Deregister Fingerprint prompt. Touch OK to confirm the deregistration of the selected fingerprint or thumbprint.
If you want to register a fingerprint or thumbprint again, simply follow the same procedure as elaborated above.
